It was a dark and spooky Halloween night in 2009 when the Pearl Jam boys dressed up for their lucky Philly fans. It was the final night of a four-night, sold-out run at Philadelphia’s Wachovia Spectrum. And even spookier, this was the final show before the death (razing) of the stadium.

Out they came in Devo jumpsuits and red upside-down planter hats. They went with the classic, Whip It, and even did the jerky robotic dance moves made famous in 1980, back when Eddie was in high school.

The set list that night was amazing: PJ did 40 (FORTY) songs, including a bunch from Ten, and covers including Pink Floyd‘s “Another Brick in the Wall,” and The English Beat’s “Save It For Later.” Cool.

See the set list from that infamous night and take in more Pearl Jam in Devo photos at the official Pearl Jam website here.
