Get Out Tonight: Hedwig and the Angry Inch

The Moore Theater is featuring a risky show continuing through January 27th.  Seattle Theatre Group and Balagan Theatre present Hedwig and the Angry Inch.  This musical is a story about a Berlin born rock-n-roll transsexual and a rocky love affair.  This 1998 musical, which is also a film, is about a fictional band that is touring the US.  All the punk rock music is written by Stephen Trask, who received a Grammy award nomination for the movie.  Perhaps one of the most inspirational songs in this musical is “The Origin of Love”, based on Aristophanes’ speech in Plato’s Symposium.  This song explains how all human beings love differently and are in constant search for their soul mate. Don’t miss the adventure that is Hedwig’s life, get out tonight!
