You would think his head is ready to explode thinking whether he should play Matt Hasselbeck or Charlie Whitehurst on Saturday. Now he has to cope with the pressure of a city that thought the dreams of they playoffs were gone but is ready to demand a victory against New Orleans. Still Pete Carroll took his time and wrote a letter for all of us, and I want to share it with you…
What a game last night! It was such an awesome experience to be a part of as we won the NFC West Championship.
The style in which we played was exactly what we set up to do the first day we got to Seattle, which was to play with great energy, great enthusiasm, great toughness, and play smart. We are looking forward to a re-match against the New Orleans Saints at Qwest Field on Saturday where we will be hearing from the 12th Man!
I wanted to take this time and say thank you for your continued support throughout this season, but also remind you that it was because we set a vision and stuck with our philopshy that our team was able to perform well in critical moments last night.
While your seasons are over, I hope you feel a part of our coaching staff as we continue our relentless pursuit of a competitive edge.
