Rumors abound on whether or not ex-Velvet Revolver and Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland will be rejoining Velvet Revolver. In a new interview with ABC News Radio, Weiland said he’s back in the rock supergroup, which includes former Guns N’ Roses members Slash, Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan.But….is he?

Although Freddie Mercury passed away in 1991, Queen has soldiered on, even releasing and album and touring with Paul Rodgers as the lead singer. To quote their own song, Queen isn’t ready to bite the dust just yet. Their stage musical, We Will Rock You, which has seen productions worldwide, is commemorating its tenth anniversary by giving its hometown crowd something a little extra beginning tonight. The show will be featuring a special guest cast member – Freddie Mercury.

The Lost Beatles Concert, a film that was scheduled to screen at a number of theaters nationwide this month, has been delayed. On Friday, the film was supposed to premiere at New York’s Ziegfeld, but was cancelled. All other screenings have been pulled from the schedule as well. So, what happened?Well, we’ll tell you.

Jimmy Fallon has come to be known for his impressions of classic rockers like Neil Young and Bob Dylan, but for his second album, the Late Night host and Saturday Night Live alum recruited music stars instead of just imitating them. On the album, titled Blow Your Pants Off, Fallon gets an assist from Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, Justin Timberlake, Dave Matthews andMore!

Following the death of Beastie Boys member Adam “MCA” Yauch last week, the pioneering hip-hop group re-enters the Billboard 20o album chart this week.

The band’s 1986 debut Licensed To Ill, the first rap to ever reach No. 1 on the album chart 25 years ago, comes in at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 this weekMore.

Legendary NYC rock club CBGB closed its doors on October 15, 2006, remaining only as a memory to those who experienced the club’s intensity during its heyday in the ’70s and ’80s. Today, it is merely a logo on an artificially vintage t-shirt sold at Urban Outfitters, worn by kids who weren’t even alive when sweat and angst filled its walls.

But that could all change when the CBGB Festival hits New York City from July 5-8.More.

Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl announced this week that he’s been hard at work on a documentary about L.A. recording studio Sound City Studios, where he recorded the album with which Seattle conquered the world: Nirvana’s classic 1991, Nevermind. But by the time Nirvana arrived at Sound City Studios, the studio had seen (or rather, heard) plenty of rock legends – and Grohl has spoken to them for his documentary.More.
