Mr. Bruce Springsteen confessed to Tom Hanks on stage at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, that he, Bruce, did not pay any taxes for quite awhile into his career.

He said “First of all, I never met anyone in New Jersey who paid any taxes!”

The music legend said it was his 1975 Time magazine cover that caught the attention of the IRS. The IRS then came after Bruce and the E Street Band and they had to work for a couple years for somebody else every night.
