Sleeping, Eating Less Red Meat And Those Workout Trackers

Cutting Back On Red Meat
For a long time doctors have been telling us to eat less red meat, that way we can reduce our chances of getting heart disease. It’s good for the environment too, says Sir Paul McCartney. He’s got a campaign called Meat Free Mondays, encouraging us to take just one day off from the cows and lamb.

Getting Enough Sleep
What is the perfect of amount of sleep? For me, 15 hours a night, but I get about 6. Scientists in Finland now say the magic number is 7.6 hours for women and 7.8 for men. They also found that men were more willing to take a sleeping aid – just thought I’d throw that in.

Work Out Tracking Devices
Are you tracking your exercise? If not – you’re in the majority – only 25 percent of Americans are doing it– with some kind of app or wrist gadget – but, they ARE having more success with working out. Food for thought! More information here.
