It’s ON: Aerosmith To Play Gorge

Rumors flew on the radio airwaves and across the internet about whether or not Aerosmith would be playing the Gorge on Saturday night as scheduled, after they cancelled their August 13th date in California. Drummer Joey Kramer has reportedly suffered heart complications and will undergo heart surgery. The 64-year-old drummer has had previous heart issues.

So,without further ado, we bring you the exact words from the email sent to us from the show’s producer, Live Nation:

Contrary to unsubstantiated reports, Aerosmith’s LET ROCK RULE tour date at the Gorge Amphitheatre this Saturday, August 16th is going ahead as planned. Tickets are available in advance at LiveNation.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, or charge by phone 1-800-745-3000, and can also be purchased at the Gorge box office this Friday and Saturday.
