After starting this current MSL season like kings, the Seattle Sounders were served up like lambs to the slaughter on Sunday in New England.

Rarely do we see a game where a total of 5 goals are scored by both teams together. We’re accustomed to scores like 1 -0 or 2-1, but not like the devastation of what happened to our boys yesterday.

Diego Fagundez – all of 12 years old – (kidding, but he is very young) scored twice for The New England Revolution. Then Patrick Mullins and Teal Bunbury also scored in the first half. And finally, right after what we thought would be a turn-around pep talk at the half, our own fullback Chad Marshall scored an ‘own goal’ after the Revolution pounded it off his thigh.

So now, Sounders, the task is to bounce back and put some balls in the back of the net, men. And I, part of the Sounders Faithful, have no doubt that you will come back stronger than ever after this little nightmare.
