Best Rock Duet Ever (And 5 Runners-Up)

Our vote for #1: Janis Joplin and Tom Jones singing ‘Raise Your Hand’ on television in 1969. He can whistle like a pro, and she can shake that boot-eh.

#2 You know we’re right: Run DMC teaming up with Aerosmith on ‘Walk This Way.’ Simply Brilliant.

#3 Kiki Dee and Elton John singing ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ in 1976. It was written by Elton John with Bernie Taupin. Elton looks so relaxed, but Kiki, not so much.

#2 Goes to Lita Ford & Ozzy Osbourne singing ‘Close My Eyes Forever.’ It’s not often you get to hear the clarity of his voice… with a little echo.

#5 No way would we forget Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty doing ‘Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.’ Glorious, just glorious.

#6 Chris Cornell of Stone Temple Pilots teamed with Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam to make a temporary super group called Temple of The Dog. Here is the beautiful rock ballad, ‘Hunger Strike.’
