Whaaaa? Which part of that headline do you find least believable? The part about John Lennon being cloned… or the part where someone is going to try is using one of the singer’s teeth?

A Canadian dentist (go figure) is actually already working on this creepy science experiment, says the UK’s The Guardian. Dr. Michael Zuk bought Lennon’s tooth a couple years ago at auction for more than $30,00. It was sold by the original owner; the Beatle’s former housekeeper. Now scientists in America are going to try and extract DNA from the tooth (Jurassic Park-style?). DNA sequencing is already underway. “To say I had a small part in bringing back one of rock’s greatest stars would be mind-blowing,” Zuk told The Guardian.

Makes JACK wonder… wouldn’t a John Lennon hologram be a lot cheaper?

Zuk the Crazy Dentist might be a little obsessed, though. He’s also created DNA pendants and is working on a parody song called Love Me Tooth. Imagine that.
