Every year, a majestic aluminum warbird makes its way back to the Northwest to take us up and away into history. I’ve been aboard and loved it, walking around the plane mid-flight over Seattle and sitting up in the gun-turret with nothing below your seat but glass.

I got on the phone with Rick Fernalld, a long-time B-17 pilot in the program. We talked about the history of this plane in particular and what the B-17s did during the war.  Jack is giving away a few seats and we hope you’re a winner, but if not, take advantage of this experience – you won’t regret it. Details on winning a ride from Jack here.

The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) B-17 will be at two Western Washington locations:

Paine Field in Everett on Wednesday – Thursday, May 22-23, 2013

Boeing Field in South Seattle Friday – Monday, May 24-27, 2013

To book a flight, please visit www.b17.org/reserve or call 1-800-359-6217
