A British man is making it easy to find “vaguely rude place names” all over the world.
Gary Gale — who tells the “Daily Telegraph” he’s a “geo-technologist and self-professed geek with a life” — has created a map that highlights hundreds of road, town and village names that will provide laughs for anyone with a slightly immature sense of humor. Some of the stops in the U.S. include Hooker, Oklahoma; Climax, Colorado; and Horneytown, North Carolina.
Internationally, Gale pinpoints Pratt’s Bottom in England, the village of Crap in Albania, and two different settlements in the Philippines named Anus. Anyone looking to plan a “vaguely rude” road trip can find the full map at maps.geotastic.org/rude.
