While everyone is at the Soundgarden show tonight, you could be enjoying an energetic live show from the band Ra Ra Riot at the Neptune Theatre.  Producer Dennis Herring, who has worked with Modest Mouse and Elvis Costello, focused on helping Ra Ra Riot expand their horizons.  A band that is known mostly as pop/rock, now is using a synthesizer as a main musical instrument giving their music a new twist.  Originally from Syracuse, New York, the band decided on a change of scenery for writing their new album.  Destination: Oxford Mississippi.   The change of environment sparked new creativity and amazing sounds.  Beta Love was released on January 22, 2013.  So, get out tonight and check out this electric band!
