With Prometheus about to be released, here is a look back at Ridley Scott and Douglas Trumbull explaining Blade Runner before it’s release in 1982.  It’s weird to hear them talk about the issues of shooting several small screens in the flying car sequence, as well as other elements of old school movie making.

Also, apparently they couldn’t afford a teleprompter for the beginning and ending standups.  Watch Ridley Scott’s eyes.
