Rather than a full-blown world tour, the Rolling Stones are now said to be considering a scaled back approach in 2013, with multiple nights in scattered major cities: “10 nights at Madison Square Garden (NYC), 10 nights at the Staples Center (LA), 10 nights at the 02 Arena (London), that sort of thing.” says an unnamed concert biz executive in an article in the new issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. “They don’t want to do a full tour, they don’t want to travel, and there are concerns about Keith’s health.” The good news is that the Rolling Stones got together back in December and jammed for the first time since their last tour in 2007, and with original bass player Bill Wyman for the first time since he quit in 1992. “We played a lot of blues, and outtakes of Some Girls…” said Mick Jagger, “It went very well”. “Basically, we’re just not ready” Keith Richards added.”The Stones always really considered ’63 to be 50 years, because Charlie didn’t actually join until January.  We look upon 2012 as sort of the year of conception, but the birth is next year.”
