Congratulations are in order for former singer and songwriter for The Jam and The Style Council, Paul Weller and his wife Hannah. They welcomed twin boys Bowie and John Paul into the world this weekend. All three are reportedly doing fine. Proud papa Paul is set to release his latest effort Sonik Kicks on March 26th, featuring guest vocals from former Oasis member Noel Gallagher and Blur‘s Graham Coxon.

PaulWeller.com reports “Paul and his wife Hannah are happy to announce that their twins John Paul and Bowie were born on Saturday (January 14). Both boys are healthy and doing well following the birth and Paul and Hannah are thrilled and over the moon. Paul would like to thank his fans for all their well wishes over the last few months.”

According to NME, “The couple married in a small ceremony on the Italian island of Capri in September 2010 after two years together. Weller now has seven children to four different women.

The Modfather told NME his new album is “very electronic sounding…good melodies, quite experimental in places. I don’t think there’s anything else around that sounds like it. It’s quite unique sounding, personally. Ground breaking maybe, possibly. For me it is.” Weller also also quelled any hopes The Jam might ever reunite saying, “Personally, I’m not one for nostalgia. What’s gone is gone. You can’t recapture that time.”

We can recapture that time though, with both The Jam and The Style Council:

And here’s a preview of Sonik Kicks including the interview with NME:
