Home movies of Nirvana have been surfacing on the internet. Some are home movies from actual band members, others are home movies from fans, backstage concert people, and assorted other sources. One of the more recently posted home movies features 10 minutes of Nirvana off stage exploring a foreign city in 1990.
Usually when someone asks if you want to see their home movies there’s groaning and people scrambling for the exits. But the Nirvana home movies are an interesting snapshot of a band in it’s prime, where the members figuratively “let their hair down”. There are movies of Nirvana on a plane, a play on their song On A Plain, and even some home movies from Nirvana and their touring crew.
