Don’t get fooled into buying tickets, a recent Madonna 2012 World Tour announcements was faked. NME.com reports “A Live Nation press release was recently posted on a Madonna fansite, listing tour dates for a four continent tour that was allegedly starting in March next year in Auckland, New Zealand. However, Liz Rosenberg, Madonna’s publicist has said that both the dates and press release are ‘fake’.
Liz also cast some doubt on Madonna’s rumored appearance on the Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show saying,”there is nothing to confirm or deny at this time.” Madonna has confirmed she’s been working on her new album with Ray Of Light producer William Orbit. She expects them to busy in her New York studio until the end of 2011.
The Material Girl is hoping to release her new album next spring and confirmed the first single should be out in February or March. Until then, here’s some favorite Madonna moments:
