Madonna is hoping to finish her next studio album in time for a Spring 2012 release, and she still hates hydrangeas. Entertainment Weekly reports the Material Girl will return to the studio with “Ray Of Light” producer William Orbit, after the promotional tour for her new movie W.E. The movie marks Madonna’s directorial debut.
In other Madonna news, a clip of her dismissing a gift of a single hydrangea from a fan at the Venice Film Festival has gone viral. A spokesperson for the singer told CNN, “She’s entitled to like any flower she wants and she didn’t want to hurt the feeling of the hydrangeas of the world. No disrespect to the hydrangeas lovers of the world but she prefers different types of flowers.” Here’s the clip that’s caused all the fuss:
