“You Dirty Beach”

dirtybeachpost You Dirty Beach

We’ve had it with you beaches. It’s time you stop being a dirty little beach. What do we have to do to get you to clean up your act? Free Tully’s Coffee or Sierra Mist? Gift Certificates to Salty’s or Duke’s Chowder House on Alki? You want a T-shirt? How about tickets to see [lastfm]Jack Johnson [/lastfm]at the Gorge? Thought that would get your attention.

Coastal CODE, Alaskan Brewing Co. and JACK FM are teaming up to celebrate International coastal Cleanup Day with an event to do the obvious, clean up a beach! JACK FM has 50 pairs of tickets to see Jack Johnson at the Gorge on October 2nd. We are doing the easiest thing possible to give these away. All YOU have to do is, show up, sign in at the JACK Tent, grab a bag, fill it up with garbage from the beach, return it to us, and we’ll hook you up with a pair of tickets to see [lastfm]Jack Johnson[/lastfm], and your very own “You Dirty Beach” T-Shirt!

Additional FAQs

  • No advance registration needed. Walk in volunteers are encouraged to check in on site.
  • Please wear proper clothing. Remember, you will be on your feet picking up garbage.

And remember, it’s all about having fun a good time. Nobody likes to have a dirty beach around.

*By committing 1% of all Alaskan IPA sales toward the cleanup and preservation of the Pacific Ocean and its coastlines, Coastal CODE is making a difference one beer at a time.
