Savannah Cat

Around since 1994, this unique breed, called Savannahs, are a cross between a domestic cat and an African serval, known as the most docile of wild cats. These cats can grow to be as large as a human toddler, jump 7-feet in the air and walk on a leash.

Savannah’s are catagorized into different levels. The F1 Savannah is 50 to 75 percent wild and the largest in the breed. The F2 is more docile and 25 percent wild and slightly smaller. The F5 is about the size of a domestic cat but retains enough serval DNA to give it a wild look.

The ratings determine the price with the F1 cat selling for $15,000 to $20,000 and the F5 cat costing $1,000.

Maybe I’ll just stick to a regular cat for now…
